Eday is situated in the heart of Orkney’s
northern isles.  Heather clad hills, sandy
beaches  and red sandstone cliffs provide
dramatic panoramic scenery as well as
making the island a prime location for
wildlife enthusiasts.

Those interested in archaeology
and heritage will find numerous points of
interest throughout the island, including
Orkney’s tallest single standing monolith,
the Setter Stone.

The ranger guides a weekly walk along the
Eday Heritage Trail - a stunning route with abundant
wildlife and a wealth of archaeological sites
